General information, not advice
Everything on this site, including our insights, is general information. It is not legal, immigration, securities, tax or other professional advice, and it should not be relied on as such. Surbiton does not provide legal, immigration, securities or tax advice. Where an engagement needs it, we work alongside licensed professionals.
No adviser relationship until we sign
Visiting this site, reading our notes, subscribing to the newsletter or sending us an enquiry does not create an adviser relationship. That relationship begins only when we both sign an engagement letter.
Accuracy
We take care to keep content accurate and current, but programs, rules and tender notices change. Check the original source before acting, and tell us if you spot an error.
Intellectual property
The content, design and marks on this site belong to Surbiton or its licensors. You may read, print and share pages for your own non-commercial use, with attribution. Please ask us before copying or republishing anything more widely.
Links to other sites
We link to third-party sites, such as program guides and government pages, for your convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, Surbiton is not liable for loss arising from your use of this website or reliance on its content.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes are for the courts of British Columbia.
