New ventures, from feasibility to launch.
Market tests, financial models and plans that a lender, a partner or a board can act on.

Outcomes
What changes for you
An honest answer early
We test demand, competition, regulation and cost before you commit capital, and tell you if the numbers do not work.
A plan others can act on
Lenders, partners and boards get a business plan and model built to the questions they will ask.
A launch that holds together
Licensing, premises, people and systems are sequenced, so opening day is not the first test.

Nation economic development
Nation economic development, built to be tested.
First Nations and other Indigenous Nations, and their development corporations, are starting businesses, buying them and partnering on major projects. We prepare the studies, plans and models those decisions rest on, to the standard lenders, funders and councils need.
Feasibility studies
Market, cost, regulatory and site tests for a proposed business or project, ending in a clear go, adjust or stop.
Business plans
Plans written to the criteria of the reader, whether that is Council, a lender, an Indigenous financial institution or a funder.
Financial models
Three- to five-year models with plain assumptions and scenarios, so that Council, a board or a lender can test them.
Decisions about a Nation's business interests belong to the Nation. We prepare analysis and options, and we work within each client's own governance and approval process.
Audience
Who we work with
- Founders with an idea that needs testing before it needs money.
- Established businesses planning a new location, line or market.
- Investors and groups weighing a new venture in British Columbia.

Questions
FAQs
Which industries do you work in?
We work across sectors. Our recent work includes regulated, people-intensive businesses where licensing and staffing shape the economics.
Will my plan get financing?
We cannot promise that, but we write to the lender's criteria and make sure the numbers stand up to scrutiny.
Can you help with funding for the venture?
Yes. Our Funding & Grants practice identifies the programs a new venture may qualify for.
